Steele Compliance Solutions was the global leader in Ethics & Compliance Management. They partnered with the world’s largest, most respected companies to deliver compliance products and services that helped organizations embrace a culture of compliance.
The goal of their Brand’s evolution was simple: provide a design system that is clean, “techy” but approachable, and ultimately supports their mission to provide compliance solutions that empower people to make the right choices.
The project was MASSIVE, but we wrangled multiple design elements into a simple and contemporary system, that provided a friendly aesthetic they could easily blow out globally.
Graphic Elements
How do you graphically differentiate nine products and highlight their individual product specific features? You create a system using a Hex Room, Product Flag and corresponding Product Color Palette and then support each with onscreen mock-ups.
HIVE
HEX ROOMS + OUTLINE
A “Hive” of graphics were created to represent each product, illustrating the compliance features for each.
FLAGS
BY PRODUCT
Further supporting the Hive graphics, the Product Flags and coordinating Color Palette further differentiated each product.
COLOR PALETTES
CORPORATE + PRODUCT
Corporate colors include a deep blue and warm rust with a light gray screen. Products are differentiated with unique colors.
MOCK-UPS
These graphics (seen here on desktop but also available as laptop on screens) highlight product specific features and showcase key screens.
Brand System
The system features each of the graphic elements:

5. Color Palettes
The appropriate Product Flag (placed left) is always in very close proximity to the Hex Room (on right). Mock-ups with correct corresponding on-screens are always interacting, but in front of, the Hive Outline. Each is styled with appropriate product variables: color, illustration and on-screens.
